12+1 podcasts to boost your creativity levels during lazy summer days

Wondering which podcasts to listen this summer? Don't worry, Wolt designers have you covered.

Strawberries as headphones. Yes.

Summer is here, and many of us are heading for well deserved holidays. As we all know, it is important to break free from the daily work tasks during the vacation. So yes, uninstall that Slack and leave those MacBooks and Sketch files unopened for a while.

Yet, it is nice to tickle your brain with some design related topics – maybe with something that is not exactly related to your daily design routines, just to feed that creative thinking of yours. Listening to podcasts is a great way to get exposed to creative thoughts while sunbathing on the beach, going for that enjoyable long distance run, or travelling in an airplane to an exotic place.

We have selected a few design related podcasts that discuss everything from those big creativity questions to those nitty-gritty design details.

JOKER: A story about Gösta Sundqvist

areena.yle.fi/1-4447708
Mika’s summer favorite. Unfortunately, this one is only in Finnish, but if you happen to understand our lovely language, then this is pure gold. Includes good voice acting and the plot is nicely tied to the music of Leevi & the Leavings, the band of Gösta Sundqvist. This story reveals many very interesting details about the past of the band and Gösta. Highly recommended. Thank you Yle, our national broadcasting company. Lots of hearts and sunbeams ?.
