Ami Gaminot is an aged red wine made mainly from Gamay grapes, 20% Pinot Noir, and white grapes of the Aligote and Chardonnay varieties found in the Burgundy area.
It is a juicy, fun red wine, with incredibly pleasant fruity and floral aromas. Easy to drink and light on the palate with fine tannins and balanced acidity. Fragrant and light.
The grapes are harvested byhand. The Gamay and Aligote grapes are co-fermented in whole bunches in a large open wood vat in the cellar. The Pinot noir and Chardonnay are vinified in stainless steel tanks with idigenous yeasts. After that, the wine is aged for 12 months in used French oak barrels.
Perfectly accompanies pork dishes, roasted red meats and tuna.
