Mus is the third wine in the minimus series of
Chloe Hadjivaryti produced with 'natural
approaches'. The young winemaker is
constantly experimenting and offers us wines
of minimal interventions with a strong
personality. Here we have a wine with
characteristic freshness and fruit depth of
100% Xinomavro from the vineyard of Filiria
in Goumenissa that is organically cultivated,
fermented with native yeasts and matures for
4 months in oak barrels. If you want to enter
the world of 'natural wines' this is a great
start! Its color is bright soft ruby. Its aroma is
full of freshness with plenty of cherries,
strawberries and blueberries on a
background of floral and plant hints. Its taste
is lively with noticeable but gentle tannins,
high acidity, intensely fruity characteristics
and long aftertaste. It is pleasant to drink now
but could evolve for a few more years.
Because the wine is bottled unfiltered you
may see some sediment!
