Old Roots is like a solid, sniper, that hits
directly into the heart of all Xinomavro friends.
You will feel that the 70-year-old vines have
concentrated all the characteristics of the
variety in the wine. It's surprisingly fierce but
not in a bad way, as the density in the fruit
partially tries and eventually succeeds in
taming the beastly power of the tannins. It is
tight, bound and durable. It will take several
years to loosen its bonds since it is actually a
very young wine that will benefit significantly
from aging. A little beast in a cage that will
impress you with its strength and amazing
personality.
