The Rosso di Montalcino shows considerable class and young vigour.
It has an intense ruby colour and pronounced fragrance, with an evident note of fruit and hints of cherry, raspberry and slightly underlined with vanilla.
The flavour is full-bodied, balanced, and slightly tannic, of good persistency because it spends in 9 months in French oak barriques and in Slavonian oak casks, followed by 3 months in bottle.
