The 2016 Prélude de Fombrauge has a medium garnet-purple colour and a lovely nose of black and red plums, warm blueberries and tobacco with a waft of sautéed herbs.
Medium to full-bodied, the palate is wonderfully savoury with impressive poise and a velvety texture to the finish.
