Tavkveri is one of the leading varieties of Kartli. The wine is made by Georgian traditional method, in the qvevri. The wine is characterized by ruby color, an aroma of spices, and red pepper, and the taste is thin, light, and fresh. Pronounced acidity and light, soft tannins. The aromas perceived in the nose perfectly follow the taste and create a harmonious and balanced sample. The typicality and character of the variety are well felt in the wine.
The wine is in perfect condition for drinking, although it has great aging potential in the bottle. It goes perfectly with truffle paste and red dried fruits.
