You've probably already looked out of your window today and noticed that the weather is pretty bad and wondered how we at Wolt actually deal with that.

Heavy rain, freezing snow, slippery road conditions, etc. – all spell big trouble for our brave couriers, most of whom are riding their bike to bring you your delicious food or much-needed groceries. Their safety is always our top priority. We are constantly monitoring the weather situation in order to adapt our activities accordingly. We align our decisions primarily on reports and official weather warnings from the Deutscher Wetterdienst, the official German Meteorological Service. So sometimes, we are forced to limit our delivery radius or, if it’s looking very bad at the moment, to even deactivate our delivery service completely. But of course these measures are always only temporary. We are constantly monitoring the current weather situation and will keep you informed as soon as the Wolt service is back to normal. We know that a limited service may cause you some inconveniences and we deeply apologize for this, but at the same time hope that this decision is understandable in regard to the bad weather conditions and above all the safety of our couriers. Thank you for your understanding and also your patience. Your Wolt team 💙
