We at Wolt take this situation seriously and are taking all possible measures to make sure we keep each other safe. πŸ’™

We hope that Covid-19 becomes a thing of the past soon. But, until it does, we would like to remind our customers, couriers and partners alike of important safety measures. 😷 No-contact delivery: This is the default delivery method that we kindly ask you to follow. Please add a detailed note for the courier about where exactly to leave the order (which floor, which entrance to use etc.). Our courier will leave your order at your doorstep. Please track the order on the app so you know when your order has arrived. 🍴 No-contact pickup: we have advised our restaurants to have a dedicated area for delivery and pickup orders with the customer’s name clearly visible on the Wolt bag. This way the courier or customer can easily find their order, without needing to interact with the staff of the restaurant. 🧼 Thoroughly wash your hands with soap and warm water for 30 seconds after receiving the delivery. βŒ› As we may have some delays in delivery times as well as customer support response times, we kindly ask for your patience. The Wolt office is partially closed and many of our support heroes are working from home. πŸ’° As the covid-19 lockdowns in Germany have continued since November, we have been supporting our restaurant partners with over a 1,000,000 EUR. We want to continue supporting our partners through this difficult time. From 08.03.2021 onwards, and until restaurants are be allowed to be open again for dine-in, we are taking the following actions: πŸ’™ We want to bring our restaurant partners as many new orders as possible and to do that we we will keep investing into marketing – 250.000 EUR in March alone. We also encourage our customers to support their local restaurants by picking up their orders themselves. 🚲 Hiring more couriers to keep up with orders. We continue to hire more couriers in our German cities so we can continue expanding our delivery areas as well as deliver more and more orders. ⏩ More frequent payments. We can make payments to our restaurant partners up to 6 times per month to give them faster access to cash. Thank you for reading and let’s help each other stay safe. πŸ’™
