Danafrika is a restaurant and shop located on Nordre Fasanvej between Nørrebro and Frederiksbjerg. The interest in running an African restaurant is also about African food and drinks in Denmark. Food bananas, yams, cassawa, chili, ginger, red palm oil, spices, dried shrimp, fish, rice, bissap, and kinkéliba from various African countries - it should all be available in Copenhagen, Sidibé and the whole family thought already for 20 years ago. Import and shop came first - it was in 2003. Since then, the café opened and the smell of African food from both West and East Africa began to make its mark on the premises. In the beginning, it was a big challenge to find the customers, but participation in various festivals came to play a big role.
