Role Background

So… we have built this rocketship. We call it Wolt. And we’re on a mission to make cities a better place to live with the help of technology. We started in 2014 in Finland, with the customer-obsessed mindset we have now reached 23 countries with over 12M users. We are best known for our food delivery platform but from the beginning of 2021, we are on a journey to become an ‘’everything’’ app so you can get almost anything in your city delivered to your doorstep in less than an hour.

We launched in Norway in 2017 and are already operating in Oslo, Trondheim, Tromsø, Stavanger, Bergen, Lillestrøm, and Sandnes with more cities to come soon. As we expand rapidly, we're looking for a detail-oriented service talent to join our growth journey and help to set up and support the restaurant partners on Wolt.

As such, we need a customer-focused and structured full-time Restaurant Associate to ensure the best possible partnership by supporting, onboarding and training new and existing restaurant partners. You will act as a key communicator between different departments, such as live support, restaurant onboarding, and account management to ensure the best experience for the partners and end-users.

We are currently also looking for a Retail Associate, in case you have a passion for retail. 

What you'll be doing

  • Supporting the restaurant partners with different contractual, financial, and technical matters.
  • Successfully onboarding venues onto the Wolt platform including arranging photoshoots, setting up menus and profiles, training of staff, testing, and follow-ups.
  • Handling restaurant support together with the Support team, especially cases that need to be escalated further.
  • Ensuring our portfolio of restaurants reaches the highest Wolt service standards by conducting frequent quality and satisfaction checks.
  • Ensuring the menu platform is up to date with the text and visuals that reflect the Wolt brand.
  • Helping our restaurant partners and colleagues in any other urgent cases, if necessary.
  • Sharing best practices amongst the restaurant team.
  • Occasionally doing market visits and helping us launch in new cities in Norway.

Our humble expectations

  • Fluent in Norwegian and English to be able to communicate with the partners and ensure we have correct information on the app.
  • Experience within customer service, ideally customer support or similar. 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt the tone to suit the audience.
  • ‘’Doer’’ with a service-minded approach and eye for detail.
  • Self-starter and a passion for food.
  • Good problem-solving skills and quick on your feet. You thrive in a fast-paced environment where no days are the same. 
  • Experience from the restaurant or horeca industry is a plus.
  • Ability to work on the weekends every once in a while.
