Role background

Wolt is a Finnish technology company and we’re best known for our food delivery platform. On our mobile app or website, customers can order their favorite meals from our restaurant partners, and either pick their order up or have it delivered by our courier partners. 

Wolt has been growing rapidly in Denmark ever since we entered the market in 2017 and we’re showing no signs of slowing down. Today, we are operating in 13 cities with more to come!

We already have a Retail-team of sales reps and account managers who ensure the right mix of Retail-partners on our platform, and we’re now looking to add a Retail Marketing Specialist. As our Retail Marketing Specialist, your focus will be commercializing the marketing investments with the key retail and FMCG partners and bringing it to life for our users. This means that you will be planning and strategizing with the Retail sales-team, Retail Partners and the rest of the Marketing-team, but also that you are willing to get your hands dirty in the execution phase.

What you'll be doing

  • Owning retail partnership marketing strategy and execution, including negotiating, developing and implementing efficient joint-marketing plans with our key retail and FMCG partners
  • Identifying key stakeholders and building relationships with them to strengthen marketing partnerships with retailers and FMCGs
  • Ensuring that our retail growth targets are met through owning and managing retail campaigns across the channels
  • Working as a partner to retail sales and account management team to support acquiring new key accounts as well as developing mutually beneficial relations with them
  • Forecasting the impact of selected marketing strategies to the P&L and assessing their ROIs

Our humble expectations

  • You have extensive experience in marketing with a proven track record specifically in trade marketing, brand management or similar within the retail or FMCG industry.
  • You have been around the marketing toolbox fundamentals and you are not afraid to copy write or set up the email-campaign when needed.
  • You are a self-starter, reliable team player with the ability to deliver results on-time and successfully manage multiple campaigns and projects simultaneously.
  • You cultivate extensive mutually beneficial relationships with the relevant marketing-stakeholders from our Retail partners.
  • You are structured, detailed, and service-oriented.
  • You have strong problem-solving skills with a bias for action and impact. 
  • You have a proactive mindset - an independent thinker who can work with limited guidance but can deliver a successful outcome through grit and determination.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt the tone to suit the audience. 
  • Fluent in Danish & English.
  • Experience with B2C   marketing,   eCommerce   and   branding   is   an advantage.
