Role background

Wolt is a Finnish technology company and until recently, we’ve been best known for our food delivery platform. On our mobile app or website, customers can order everything from pizza to paracetamol and either pick it up at the venue or have it delivered by our courier partners. 

We launched in Serbia in early 2019, and down to the unbelievable hard work of our team, we have now expanded from our humble beginnings in Belgrade to five other cities, partnering with more than 1000 restaurants and delivering to more customers by the day!

As our new Sales Associate, reporting to our Restaurant Partnerships Team Lead, you will be handling the growing number of inbound enquiries we get from interested partners. If a restaurant or retailer wants to join Wolt, it's down to you to close the deal on the phone! 

As you'll be spending most of your day talking to potential partners, you need to have awesome communication skills, the ability to build relationships quickly, and most importantly - be able to sell. 

What you'll be doing

  • Being the main point of contact (inbound and outbound) for restaurants that have shown interest towards Wolt
  • Conducting negotiations regarding partnership terms and understanding which kind of restaurant portfolio we are building here at Wolt
  • Assisting the Restaurant (especially sales) team with other ad-hoc tasks.

Our humble expectations

  • Demonstrable experience from a sales or customer service focused role.
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt tone to suit the audience.
  • Experience from within the restaurant industry is a plus.
  • Self-starter with a passion for food.
  • Fluent in Serbian and able to work in English.
