Role Background

So… we have built this rocketship. We call it Wolt. And we’re on a mission to make cities a better place to live with the help of technology. We started in 2014 in Finland, with the customer-obsessed mindset we have now reached 23 countries with over 12M users. We are best known for our food delivery platform but are now on a journey to become an ‘’everything’’ app so you can get almost anything in your city delivered to your doorstep in less than an hour.

We launched in Norway in 2017 and are already operating in Oslo, Trondheim, Tromsø, Stavanger, Bergen and Sandnes with more cities to come soon. As we expand rapidly, we're now looking for more upcoming sales talents to support our growth journey.

As such, we're now searching for a Sales Consultant to our brand new inside sales team to help us further grow Wolt’s restaurant portfolio in Norway by using inside sales channels.

What you’ll be doing

  • Making outbound calls to new prospective retail and restaurant partners to sign them up to Wolt. 

  • You will be researching leads, prospecting, cold calling, consulting, negotiating terms, and closing deals over the phone. 

  • Organizing the document flow between Wolt and merchants and ensure proper archiving of these documents at Wolt.

  • Assisting Restaurant Partnership Managers and Specialists with their day-to-day tasks and city launches.

  • Handling incoming correspondence and forwarding it to the right teams.

  • Collaborating with the team about how we could work smarter while staying customer-focused. 

Our humble expectations

  • Fluency in Norwegian and English is a must to be able to establish a good connection with our partners. 

  • Previous experience within sales, promoting, telemarketing, recruitment, fundraising, or similar. Alternatively, outgoing personality, excellent commercial thinking, and a very strong interest to develop a career within b2b sales.

  • You are tech-savvy, curious, and a quick learner.

  • Excellent communication skills. You enjoy talking with people and being on calls with a lot of different people and partners most of your day. Moreover, you are good at reading and convincing people. 

  • You have a can-do attitude and are ready to roll up your sleeves and get to work in a fast-paced startup environment.

  • Persistent. You love the thrill of a sale, do not give up and get energy from working in a target-driven role and achieving your goals.

  • Structured - you are good at managing your time and pipeline to reach the goals. Experience with any CRM tools is an advantage. 

  • Experience or knowledge from within the restaurant or retail industry is a plus but not a must.
