Our Central Marketing team has focused heavily on building world-class performance marketing expertise, and have worked on defining how to best continue developing ourselves to ensure that we are facilitating fast-growth across our new and existing markets. And now we are searching for a Regional Marketing Director to take ownership of our eight-figure marketing budget for the allocated region.
As a Regional Marketing Director, you will own the strategy and drive the execution of world-class multi-channel campaigns to boost brand and drive growth across the region in multiple countries. So we are looking for an experienced marketer to join us and lead the way to ensure efficient marketing investments.
What you’ll be doing
Being the strategic partner to the Regional General Managers and country General Managers in how to grow our user base and our market share as rapidly and efficiently as possible
Leveraging and conducting customer and market research and using the insights to formulate the marketing strategy
In executing the strategy, help finding the right channel mix and the right messaging for the markets
Identifying and working with the right external partners globally, regionally and locally to support strategy execution
Defining marketing targets, forecasting and long-term planning
Defining performance KPIs that aim to maximise efficiency of marketing spend
Bringing together the best internal functional expertise to help the markets succeed
Coaching and empowering the local teams to reach their full potential
Developing tactics and playbooks across different channels such as influencer marketing, social and partnerships
Support recruiting needed talent
Our humble expectations
5+ years of relevant experience, such as managing a high-performing consumer marketing team or experience from a business development / strategy role where you have worked closely together with marketing
Strong leadership skills
Experience in forecasting, financial planning & budget allocation
Proven analytical experience in utilizing data to design, develop and execute multi-channel marketing activities
Prior experience in a fast-moving environment with a strong focus on achieving targets and getting things done
A strong creative eye and great understanding of social media channels
Tech savvy and experienced with online analytic tools
Ability to really own a project, work independently and ask for guidance when needed
A background of e-commerce, digital marketing or apps is preferred
Excellent Excel skills
Fluent in English
