Role background

Wolt is a Finnish technology company and we’re best known for our food delivery platform. On our mobile app or website, customers can order their favorite meals or other producst from our restaurant or retail partners and either pick their order up or have it delivered by our courier partners. 

A few years ago, Wolt operated in 4 countries and 10 cities across the Nordics. Fast forward to today, we’re in 23 countries and over 100+ cities, servicing over 10M registered users. 
We recently launched in Bergen and Sandnes, and are already present in Oslo, Trondheim, Tromsø and Stavanger - with more cities to come soon. We’re expanding rapidly, from our offices in Oslo, and now we’re looking for someone to be part of this hectic, fun and rapid expansion and help to further develop our partnerships within Norway.

Your job starts when the restaurant has been onboarded to Wolt’s platform. As a Restaurant Development Associate, you’re responsible for supporting the development team with managing our restaurant partner campaigns, optimization projects, and doing data quality checks.
We’re looking for someone with a genuine passion for establishing relationships and improving key business metrics to create results for Wolt, the restaurants, and ultimately the customers. In doing that, you need to have good communication skills, a structured way of working, commercial flair, a strong passion to deliver exceptional service, and the ability to explain the different initiates and how they can drive growth to our partners. Preferably you have previous experience in sales, the restaurant scene or advising clients in a strategic manner, and are now looking to further develop your skills in the fast-moving startup scene.

What you’ll be doing

  • Together with the Restaurant Development Managers, you are owning the overall restaurant relationships after they have been signed and onboarded to Wolt.

  • Driving revenue growth through pitching, negotiating, implementing, and developing marketing campaigns for our existing restaurant partners to grow revenue.

  • Proactively communicating with our partners to advise them on different campaigns and managing the campaign requests that come in.

  • Creating documentation of previous campaigns and the results, and communicating the reports to our partners. 

  • Executing venue optimization projects in order to optimize our restaurant portfolio performance and KPI’s.

  • Monitoring data quality.

  • Doing quality checks on the campaigns we have live on the app and ensuring everything looks right. 

  • Working  together with the marketing team to plan and execute campaigns together with restaurant partners.

  • Getting your hands dirty: we’re developing a lot from scratch and this is a brand new role. Your responsibility is to bring structure and help us to shape how we support our partners.

Our humble expectations

  • Experience in sales, account management, or advising clients on a B2B level is preferred. Alternatively you might have a bit of exposure to marketing and service, and are now looking to develop your career in a client-facing direction. Or maybe you come from a front desk, booking, or reception setting and are interested in taking your experience into a new field? 

  • Fluent in Norweigan and English is a must to connect with our partners.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt the tone to suit the audience and clearly advise and communicate the value of campaigns and other initiatives. 

  • Commercial flair with good analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Structured, detailed, and service-oriented. You will be doing data quality checks, hence a good eye for detail is key.

  • Good time management skills - you will be working in a fast paced environment with many competing priorities.

  • High ownership and ambition to go beyond the obvious.

  • Passion for food and developing the best restaurants in town. Background from restaurants or horeca is a bonus.

  • Experience working with CRM tools or data systems is preferred.
