Lead Engineer, Site Reliability
Our Site Reliability Team consists of 10-15 developers with various backgrounds (front-end, back-end, mobile) and works in two on-call shifts per week. In case there is a disruption in the service, their main goal is to make sure we react accordingly, escalate the incident, respond to it and find the cause.
As the Lead Engineer you will not have any direct reports, but you'll be responsible for managing the workload, setting the strategy, train developer teams on best practices. You will have a lot of freedom to choose your own projects that you feel Wolt will benefit from.
Our humble expectations
To be successful in this role you should have solid experience and understanding of DevOps practices (in AWS and Kubernetes environment), experience leading a 24/7 SRE team. You build meaningful relationships with developer teams and you are able to successfully coach them on best practices, you are a great facilitator and you're excellent at driving your own ideas from the beginning to an end. You are well versed with monitoring tools like Grafana and Datadog.
