A few years ago Wolt operated in 4 countries and 10 cities across the Nordics. Fast forward to today, we’re in 23 countries and over 90 cities across EMEA, servicing over 10M registered users.
We recently launched in Bergen and Sandnes, and are already present in Oslo, Trondheim, Tromsø and Stavanger - with more cities to come soon. We’re expanding rapidly, from our offices in Oslo, and now we’re looking for someone to be part of this hectic, fun and rapid expansion and help to further build our presence in Norway.
As such, we're now searching for a Sales Associate to our restaurant team to help us grow Wolt’s restaurant portfolio using inside sales channels. Besides that you might be doing some outbound sales, helping to launch new cities, and booking meetings for our Restaurant Partnership Managers.
This is a brand new role in a brand new team and hence you will be part of shaping how we do inbound sales at Wolt Norway. Besides that, there is a career path to develop and grow within field sales and our organization over time. Previous experience in sales is preferred, but what we care the most about is your motivation and interest to learn and develop within sales!
What you’ll be doing
Process new inbound restaurant applications received via phone calls and web.
Make outbound calls to new prospective restaurant partners.
Negotiate and sign up restaurants for a partnership with Wolt.
Organize the document flow between Wolt and merchants and ensure proper archiving of these documents at Wolt.
Assist Restaurant Partnership Managers and Specialists with their day-to-day tasks and city launches.
Handling incoming correspondence and forwarding it to the right teams.
Collaborating with the team about how we could work smarter while staying customer focused.
Our humble expectations
Some previous experience within sales or a sales-related role is preferred. Alternatively a very strong motivation to learn and develop within sales.
You are tech-savvy, curious, and a quick learner.
Excellent communication skills - you will be working with a lot of different people and partners.
You have a can-do attitude and are ready to roll up your sleeves and get to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
Persistent - you do not give up and get energy from working in a target-driven role and achieving your goals.
Structured - you are good at managing your time and pipeline to reach the goals. Experience with any CRM tools is an advantage.
Experience or knowledge from within the restaurant industry is a plus.
Experience within phone sales is a plus. Alternatively, you enjoy talking with people and being on calls most of your day.
Fluency in Norwegian and English is a must to be able to establish a good connection with our partners.
