JER is a city cafe located on the ground floor of the Tselinny Center of Contemporary Culture. The menu was developed by Chef Ruslan Abduramanov. The name comes from the Kazakh word jer — "earth" or "land" — reflecting the ideas of closeness, simplicity, and everyday life. Despite its modern minimalist interior and strict geometry, the cafe maintains an open and approachable character. JER is envisioned as a vibrant urban spot: for breakfasts, coffee, quick meetings, and pauses between exhibitions and events. It is a space free of formality, equally comfortable for both the Center's visitors and Almaty residents.
