Oral – the city of three rivers

Most European Kazakhstani city rarely gets into the news. More often it seems that against the backdrop of rich western cities, Oral's life froze in the past. The main battles here are saved only in the half-empty museums, with schoolchildren visiting those holding hands. Young entrepreneurs that have grown up in Uralsk do not choose a career in the oil and gas industry. They open burger cafes and coffee shops, bake pizza, and make cocktails and cheese. At the risk of being disliked by the conservative city, they delicately change Oral's habits and character – doing it through the most peaceful symbol - food.
