Starting 1st of August, new alcohol sales restrictions come into force in Latvia!

How will this change affect your orders from Wolt?

It's important to us that you always know how to order responsibly, so we want to inform you about the new legal changes that will affect alcoholic beverage deliveries on the Wolt platform. Starting August 1st, a minimum of 6 hours must pass from the moment an online order is placed until delivery. This means that alcohol sales and delivery times are becoming stricter. When can you purchase alcohol in the Wolt app? 🕒 → Monday - Saturday: from 10:00 to 13:00 (so we can deliver by 20:00 on the same day) → Sunday: from 10:00 to 11:00 (so we can deliver by 18:00 on the same day) → If you place an order outside these times, it will be delivered the next day. We encourage you to plan your alcohol orders so you can receive them on the same day!* *Delivery takes place during legally permitted hours. It's important to note that, starting August 1st, alcohol advertising is not permitted in either physical or online retail locations.
