The Meat dishes are uniquely cooked in the last still working traditional limestone oven left on the maltese islands. They are prepared following a gozitan traditional recipe which includes seasonal vegetables, wine and herbs & spices specific for each meat. The meats are served in their own jus and one cannot miss on trying this delicacy.

Tal-furnar Restaurant is family run business that specialises in Local traditional food as well as other specialities like fish. Most of the dishes like Lamb, Rabbit and Pizza are cooked in the 100 year old stone oven which has been in the family for 4 generations. We strongly belief in the farm to table concept so we grow and make most of the produce ourselves. In doing so we try our best to utilize fresh and local ingredients to make our dishes for our dear customers.
