A wonderful contrast to the Estate Wine, this Réserve presents darker fruit, more spice, a more thoughtful character, and more power – despite the moderate alcohol. Black cherry and blackberry couple with cocoa and some black liquorice, there is plenty of spice and the tannins are grippy, though fine.
Well-balanced and good length, with a youthful character throughout. The wine will reward a few years of cellaring, but is also a delightful partner for roasted meats on a warm summer evening
