Inspired by the famous Italian Chocolate, Maypole’s Bueno Gâteau consists of a hazelnut infused sweet pastry base and nocciola cream containing wafer and toasted nibbed almonds beneath a Madeira cake layer. A skilful blend of Belgian white chocolate and caramelised hazelnut cream are whipped into a mousse and layered on top of the Madeira cake layer. The Gâteau is finished off with a delicious thin layer of Belgian milk chocolate.
