Defrost a 1 Kilo Stuffed Turkey Breast With Sage Onion
• In the Fridge (Preferred Method):
Place the turkey in its packaging on a plate or tray in the fridge. Allow 12-24 hours to fully defrost.
Cooking Times in the Oven
1. Preheat Oven: Set to 180°C (350°F).
2. Cooking Time:
• A 1-kilo stuffed boneless turkey will take 60-70 minutes.
• If the stuffing is dense or moist, allow an extra 10-15 minutes.
3. Check Temperature:
• Use a meat thermometer.
• The thickest part of the turkey should reach 75°C (165°F).
• Stuffing should also be at 75°C (165°F).
4. Rest the Turkey: Let it rest for 10-15 minutes before carving.
This ensures the turkey is cooked thoroughly without overcooking.
