Begonia luxurians with pot
Light: Your Begonia will do the best bright indirect light. It will tolerate medium light but watch to make sure your plant does not become leggy and stretch for the sun. However, do not place in full sun, as the leaves can burn and dry out. Water: Water when the top 50%-75% of the soil is dry. Water until liquid flows through the drainage hole at the bottom of the pot and discard any water that has accumulated in the saucer. Humidity: Your Begonia prefers a humid environment but does not tolerate misting. Use a pebble tray or humidifier, instead. Temperature: Ideal temperatures are 16-24°C Fertilization: Feed once a month during the spring and summer with a liquid fertilizer for indoor plants. Additional care: Begonias are prone to powdery mildew that can occur if their leaves are kept wet. It is okay to mist the area around your plant to increase humidity, but do not mist directly on the leaves and avoid getting the leaves wet while watering. Size: ~ 35 cm height, 14 cm diameter
