Telosma cordata is a species of flowering plant, individual blooms emerge successively over a period of weeks emitting a rich, heavy fragrance during the day and night and in Vietnamese, it is called Thiên Lý. It’s my mother favourite flower because of the wonderful dishes from it. In Vietnam, we connect with flowers and nature through our senses and we get comfortable with the taste. Sometimes my mother cooks delicious dishes for my father with this flower at the evening, they drink tea and talk about how’s their day has been going so far.
