“Las Perlitas” means “Little Pearls” in Spanish and the name of this coffee reveals its amazing story. Small farmers in Colombia produce exceptional coffee but only in limited quantities, as each of them does not have enough crops to form a full lot.
The beans are subjected to very strict quality control. Farmers have to provide coffees that meet a minimum of 86 SCA points with the same profile. The “little pearls” collected from all the farms are then combined into one lot that we have the opportunity to enjoy — “Las Perlitas”.
