Healthy aquarium with near-natural conditions
The correct water values in the aquarium depend on the fish population and the plants present. Even if the water looks clear, it can be contaminated. If the values are poor, diseases or algae can form in the aquarium. Regular checking and adjustment of the water values is important for a healthy aquarium with near-natural conditions. With the JBL Test Combi Set you can determine the 5 most important water values in your aquarium.
Precise determination of the following values:
pH test: acidity of the water from 3.0 to 10
KH test: pH stability of the water (carbonate hardness)
Fe test: iron value for fertilizer control
NO2 test: toxic nitrogen compound
NO3 test: cause of algae
To determine the CO2 content, it is sufficient to measure pH and KH. These two values give the CO2 content of the water, which can then be taken from the enclosed table.
In the JBL Online Laboratory you can analyze your measured water values free of charge and view recommendations.
