For calculating the pH value and carbonate hardness of aquarium water. Phosphate-free substance based on oak extract. The substance can also be used to remove scale deposits from cover glasses
It lowers the KH value and, in the same proportion, the pH value
Find out the pH and KH value of the tap water and your aquarium, as well as the target value of your aquarium. Only use drop tests to measure pH and KH value, strip tests are not accurate enough and often give an incorrect result.
Lower the pH of the tap water, for example in buckets, to the target concentration before putting it in the aquarium during water changes. Do not dispense the substance directly into the aquarium.
If the pH value is over 8, dose 10 ml / 40 liters of aquarium water. If the pH value is between 7 and 8, dose 10 ml / 80 liters of aquarium water. Measure the KH value a couple of hours after adding the substance and dose the product as needed after another 24 hours of culture
If you already have fish or aquatic animals in your aquarium, reduce the KH value of your aquarium moderately (no changes of several degrees during the same day). If the KH value fell too low, perform a partial water change in the aquarium to raise the KH value and, if necessary, add a KH value booster
