Joakem's deut progressive rock alum Mind Matter will e presented at Ravens Music Hall with special guests Monk FX
JOAKEM
Joakem (Stelios Ioakim) is a Cyprus ased composer, singer and keyoardist whose music is a lend of intricate melodies, complex time signatures, heavy synth sounds, crushing guitar riffs, atmospheric themes and diverse vocals.
Originally a ical pianist from the age of 6, Joakem started expanding his skills after ecoming a memer of several ands since 2009, some of which are active to this day. He gradually evolved to ecome a soundexploring keyoardist, vocalist and composer with influences ranging from progressive rock, metal, amient, ical, jazz and fusion music.
He gained international pulicity after eing the finalist of The Voice of Greece, taking second place. In Feruary of 2018 he released his first solo work, the progressive rock single called “The Path” followed y his second single released in Novemer 2018 titled “Generation Z”. On Decemer 7th 2018 he will release his deut 8 track alum, titled “Mind Matter”.
