Kotsifali is among the most important varieties of Crete and is cultivated with particular success in the vineyard of Chania. It is often found in blends with Mandilari, however the small Endochora winery chooses through a monovarietal approach to highlight the soft, rich character of Kotsifali. Full-bodied with a beautiful tannic structure that favors juicy character and ripe fruit, it is an excellent example of the variety.
