A more gentle version of orange flavor from Reka.Koncz, where for Eastern Accents she combines 30% of the grapes from her field blend vineyards and 70% (Hárslevelű) which she buys from a friend of her winemaker, who also cultivates them organically his vineyards in another area. Here we have 5 days of waiting for Hárslevelű and two weeks for our days.
30% Sauvignon Blanc and 70% Hárslevelű make up Eastern Accents. Due to the rich volcanic rhyolite soils, all of Annamária's wines have a distinctive minerality and tension. At the same time, on the nose, you can find honey, pollen, white stone fruit, peaches, and pineapple. The Hárslevelű provides a broad, mouth-coating texture perfectly balanced with acidity to counteract that body. The Sauvignon Blanc's skin contact shows riper, more exotic characteristics, such as honey and luscious exotic yellow fruit. A nice length and nice fleshiness finish this beautiful wine!
