Yiannoudi is one of the pieces that complete the puzzle of the heroic viticulture of Cyprus, an island characterized by unknown varieties, autocratic vines, mountainous vineyards and producers passionate about tradition, such as Vouni Panagia. Almost extinct, Yiannoudi was planted in the winery's vineyard 15 years ago and only began to be vinified in the last decade. Rare and exotic, with quality potential equivalent to Maratheftiko, this is a wine with aromas of bushes & wild berries and expresses notes of cream soda, liquorice, blackberry & blueberry. Medium weight on the palate with ripe tannins. A spike of black fruit, pencil shaving & graphite notes that finishes off the end palate. A wine structured but at the same time managing to maintain its elegance.
