The name refers to the imposing hill of
Exomvourgo, where the medieval capital of
Tinos, the Castle, was once built.
Exomvourgo is a huge granite boulder of
igneous rocks that dominates in the middle of
the island, at an altitude of 640 meters. The
red with 70% Mavrotragano in the blend is a
fascinating, textural wine with fine crafted
tannins and a solid umami character.
