Intense and concentrated garnet red, with violet reflections. The impetuous nose typical of the variety also gives floral harmonies (violet) and notes of fresh red and black fruits (cherry, cassis). In the mouth, the tannins are well present, highlighting the bitter cocoa and macerated fruits. Intense and complex, it has a very successful acidity.
Food pairing: Smoked cold meats and sausages, grilled beef, Creole roast, baked or stewed lamb, legume and vegetable casserole, wild rabbit, meat pie, stuffed pasta with bolognese sauce
