A headache is a painful disorder of the head (sometimes associated with pain in the face and/or neck).
This is the most common form of pain. In Greece, it affects approximately 1.5 million people in an episodic form.
Primary headaches have 3 main forms:
Migraine
Tension headache
Cluster headache
Migraine occurs in 18% of women and 6% of men, with repeated episodes of moderate or severe intensity, associated with symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, photophobia, phonophobia.
In recent years, many studies have been done on the origin of migraine, but its etiology has not yet been established.
