We founded GSC in 2017, way back when we were developing and making our candles out of our sunny Berlin apartment. The living room housed all of the inventory and the packing & shipping station was infringing on the kitchen. It was humble beginnings and we’re so proud of them! Louee is our adopted pup from the Montreal, SPCA and the face of the brand. As part of our mission, we donate a portion of the profits to rescue shelters with every candle purchase. Bringing light into more than just your homes. As our business grew, I packed it up and moved into a proper studio. Just a year after relocating, we found ourselves with the opportunity to open our first brick & mortar location in Neukölln, Berlin – a place we loved and had been visiting for many years. We jumped at the chance and opened our doors in the spring of 2018. After two years, we spread our wings and moved north of the city, to open a bigger & brighter space. Meet Schmilblick, our French Café & Concept Shop - you'll find everything from our signature candles, poetic dried flower bouquets, terrariums and locally made home decor. Our shop offers the works of many local partners such as jewelers, perfumers, ceramists, screen-printers, illustrators and many more. We get to meet our customers, see smiling faces, support@wolt.com our local creative community and offer creative workshops on a daily basis.
