Living in another country gave us a second home, a second family, a place where we have been growing up and appreciating to meet every single person. We enjoy not only the big things but from the small things also. This part names “Những niềm vui bình dị” – “Ordinary joys”. If we named the first collection with Vietnamese – our mother tongue, this part we are pleased to call the new things by Hungarian, our second home language.
Our first chapter: “Lam Sơn” is a name of a historical revolution in Vietnam in 15th century if you look it up on google. We don’t relate to that event. Everything we want to share and spread here because of our mother. Back to the past, my mother was a little woman with a great love for her children. She worked hard every single day from early morning until the sun goes to sleep. Her first successful business was under the name “Lam Sơn”. We asked her why she chose it. My mother told she heard it from someone by chance, it sounded simply smooth and somehow it gave her luck. When we decided to start our business in Europe, it took only 2 seconds to choose this name because we want to honor our mother and continue the name she chose to raise us up. We aim to bring the real Vietnamese handmade products as a way to speak out ourselves. And always remember home is where our love stands for.
